Chief Secretary Sindh , Mr Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah received the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations delegation at the Sindh Secretariat today. Ms Minà Dowlatchahi FAO Representative in Pakistan led the delegation.
Chief Secretary Sindh discussed the priorities of the government of Sindh including SDG agenda.
On the occasion , FAO Representative in Pakistan Ms Minà Dowlatchahi said: “ The meeting is happening at a time when we are marking our 4Oth anniversary in Pakistan. We are encouraged by the fact that the priorities of the government match FAO priorities under its Country Programing Framework. We are therefore confident that we can deliver to meet the needs of the agriculture sector in Sindh. FAO stands ready to provide technical assistance in water governance and management “.
Mr Farrukh Toirov Deputy FAO Representative was also present.
