ISLAMABAD – Government is all set to organise rice yield competition 2018-19, where winners will be prized with modern gadgets.
Wasif Khurshid, Secretary Agriculture Punjab, Thursday announced that government will organize rice yield competition 2018-19 and prizes worth millions of rupees, which include costly agriculture machinery, will be distributed among the rice growers. Farmers (male/ female) having 3 acre or more land can apply to take part in the competition.
Tenants, contractors are also eligible to participate, after due verification of their documents from Tehsil Committee.
Application form is available to farmers from their offices of regional Assistant Director Agriculture (Ext) or Agriculture Officers (Ext) during office hours. Farmers may submit their application form till 10th October 2018.
