A monthly progress review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Special Secretary Agriculture (Marketing) Punjab Ehsan Bhutta. Heads of directorates (E& M), (PIAM), Provincial Market Committee fund Board and Project Director (Establishment of Model Farms) and EADA’s participated in this meeting.
On this occasion, Special Secretary Agriculture (Marketing) appreciated the performance of Director (E&M) for fulfillment of the targets assigned to him. Special Secretary Marketing Ehsan Bhutta also directed to implement strict monitoring mechanism for auction and arrival recording in the wholesale markets of Punjab.
Special Secretary also directed Director(PIAM) to make training module more productive and result oriented so that employees could get maximum benefit during his practical life. Director Fund Board was assigned to chalk out plan for the improvement in the structure of wholesale market Punjab through its engineering wing. Mr. Ehsan Bhutta also disclosed that he has sent official correspondence to 27 districts Deputy Commissioners for strict action against those who are responsible for making passages.
He also directed officials to observe cleanliness in markets and provide hygienic fruits and vegetables to public. On this occasion, EADA’s Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Lahore, DG Khan, R.Y. Khan, Rawalpindi, Multan etc also gave presentation about their progress and mutually discussed problems facing them at field level. At the end, Director (E&M) Lahore Division thanked all participants for their presence.
