Kinow Growers welcome Rs800/40kg rate

SARGODHA – The growers have expressed satisfaction over the kinnow rateof Rs 800 per 40 kilograms set by the district administration. They said after getting reasonable rates of their crops growers would make more efforts for the best quality production. A grower, Shah Nawaz said that Deputy Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha directed the sugar mills to ensure Rs 180 per 40 kg rate of sugarcane.

Citrus Research Institute, Sargodha (CRIS) Director Muhammad Nawaz Maken said growers were getting  reasonable rates of their produce, adding that they could increase profits by improving kinnow quality and cultivation of seedless orange.
