PESHAWAR – The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed that the occupiers of seven sugar mills – Khazana Sugar Mills Peshawar, Premier Sugar Mills Mardan, Bannu Sugar Mills Serai Naurang, Al-Moiz Suger Mills D. I. Khan, Tandlainwala Sugar Mills D. I. Khan, Chashma Sugar Mills D. I. Khan and Chashma (Expansion) Sugar Mills D. I. Khan – shall for the slicing season 2017-18 pay Rs175 the minimum support price of sugar beet per 40 kg at the factory gate and Rs175 per 40 kg minus transportation charges at the farmer’s fields as fixed by the government.
Similarly, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also directed that the occupiers of these seven sugar mills shall for the crushing season 2017-18 pay Rs180 the minimum support price of sugarcane per 40kg at the factory gate and Rs180 per 40kg minus transportation charges at the farmer’s fields as fixed by the government. It was notified by Food Department, Government of KP.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has finalized selection against seven (07) posts of Zilladar (PBS-15) in Irrigation Department and conveyed its recommendation to the concerned department. It was announced by In-charge Media Cell Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission.
