Irsa releases 80,300 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD – The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Sunday released 80,300 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 40,200 cusecs .

According to the data released by Irsa , water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1448.80 feet, which was 68.80 feet higher than its dead level of 1,380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 25,500 cusecsand outflow as 40,000 cusecs .

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1133.25 feet, which was 93.25 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 4,400 cusecs and 30,000 cusecs , respectively.
