discharge position in rivers and canals
KARACHI-Discharge of water position at all three Sindh
barrages including Gudu, Sukkur and Kotri Barrages is as
under:

Disclosing the above water position, Director Regulation,
Irrigation & Power Deptt, Karachi said that water inflows at
Rim Stations of various rivers as on Feb 15, 2002 is; Indus at
Tarbela with 11000 Cusecs, Kabul at Attock 4360, Jhelum at
Mangla 8300 and Chenab at Marala 4565 Cusecs.
He informed that discharge position at various canals at
Desert Pat Feeder 2200 Cusecs, Ghotki Feeder 1100, North
Western Canal 2516, Dadu Canal 1395, Nara Canal 4270, Khairpur
East 750, Rohri Canal 4270, Khairpur West 500, Kalri Baghar
550, Akram Wah 180, Pinyari (Old Fulleli) 260, New Fulleli 805
Cusecs and Wadu/Fasadi Wah 817 Cusecs. Besides, B. S. Feeder
and Rice Canals are closed due to annual canal closure, he
added.
