In January-September of the current year the production of poultry for slaughter in live weight in all categories of farms amounted to 4.8 million tons, which is 7% higher than a year earlier (2016 of 4.48 million tonnes)
Including in agricultural organizations produced 4.5 million tons (+315,4 million tons), which is 7.5% more than the same period of 2016.
Egg production in all categories of farms made up of 33.98 billion units (+3% or 991,9 million units) in the agricultural organizations of 26.6 billion pieces (or +4.1%, more than 1 billion units).
“The production of poultry in agricultural organizations provided Tambov, Belgorod, Tula, Kursk, Volgograd, Moscow region, Republic of Bashkortostan, and to increase egg production are leading Leningrad, Tyumen, Tula, Yaroslavl, Omsk, Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai”, – said the Director of the Department of animal husbandry and breeding Ministry of agriculture of Kharon Amerkhanov.
