Dairy-Rangers Rangers launch "Dairy" project
Back

LAHORE-Pakistan Rangers, Punjab in
collaboration with Prime Dairies has launched a "Welfare Dairy
Project" covering the entire border areas stretching around
the Punjab province. Official sources said here on July 25
that for quite some time it was being felt that some of the
multinational companies and local giants in this sector have
monopolised the system to suit their vested interests ignoring
the poor farmers and cattle owners in the neglected and
underdeveloped border areas.
The strategy adopted by these companies had created a system
of 2-3 middle men who were minting money at the cost of cattle
owners. The poor farmers were the least beneficiary in this
vicious circle who have now taken a sigh of relief due to
Pakistan Rangers' s active participation in this field.
Now the Rangers have approached the farmers directly
abolishing the menace of middle men thereby taking the
prosperity right at their door steps. Breaking the myth of
milk mafia was a big deal which has now been done with
commendable efforts undertaken by the Pakistan Rangers.
