Recovery cases filed against 5 sugar mills
HYDERABAD (March 30 2004): Cases have been filed
against five sugar mills, in the courts of their
respective districts, for recovery Rs 180 million
of last year's dues of growers.
Sindh Cane Commissioner Nazar Muhammad Baloch
stated this while talking to Business Recorder at
his office here on Monday.
He said that the five sugar mills are Tharparkar,
Seri, Al-noor, Ranipur and Khairpur.
Referring to recovery of cess he said that four
mills have been served with notices under Sugar
Factory Act.
