Conditions firm on cotton market
KARACHI (March 13
2004): Cotton market was firm on Friday as world
rates turned volatile giving no definite size of
the gain or loss, relevant sources said on Friday.
The official spot rate was unchanged at Rs 3000
without ST and upcountry expenses.
In ready, asking prices were around the spot rate.
Three deals were reported: 4000 bales of Nawabshah
at Rs 2850; 400 bales of Khanpur at Rs 3000; and
200 bales of Chichawatni at Rs 3025.
