| Steps being taken to overcome flour shortage KARACHI (January 12 2004): The Sindh administration is taking immediate measures to overcome the shortage of wheat flour in the various cities and rural areas of the province under the directives of Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad and Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammed Maher.
Steps are being taken to ensure the supply of wheat flour to all places in the province while stringent actions against people hoarding the flour have been taken through stock checking and review of record of usage of wheat stocks released to mills and by immediate completion of inquiries relating to defalcation of stored wheat stocks at some storage houses of the provincial government.
