ZTBL to give Rs 650 million loans
HYDERABAD (April 15 2004): Regional Manager of
Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) Ajmal Hussain
Qureshi has said that Rs 650 million will be
provided to the growers as agriculture loan.
Talking to newsman here on Wednesday, he said that
out of this reserved amount, Rs 450 millions would
be provided to small growers only.
He further said that the loans would be provided
under different credit schemes to develop lands
and enhance agro-production in the region.
He added that managers of all the ZTBL branches
had been asked to start one-window operation from
April 19 to facilitate the growers to obtain their
loans under the "micro credit" and "revolving
credit" schemes, launched by his organisation.
