No deal reported on cotton market
KARACHI (April 10 2004): Deals were not reported
within usual office hours as prices maintained low
profile under pressure from world declining trend,
relevant sources said.
The official spot rate of grade III was unchanged
at Rs 2900 without ST and upcountry expenses.
In New York mixed pattern was witnessed as May
gained 0.03 cent to 61.70 and July lost 0.12 cent
to 63.64 cents a pound.
Sources were not prepared to comment on the
current trend in the market except that ginners
were holding back stocks as they hope better days
may be in store for them.
No deal was reported, for the second day in a row.
