New breed of bulls and cows evolved
QUETTA (April 30
2004): A new breed of bulls and cows is claimed to
have been evolved at the Balochistan Beef
Production Research Centre, Sibi.
This new breed christined 'Nari Master' is capable
of gaining puberty much earlier with double weight
of 30 maunds as compared to the existing breed of
Australian drought and Baghnari bulls and cows in
famous Baghnari area near Sibi.
Well-informed sources said here on Thursday the
new breed results from more than 10 years research
on cross-breeding between Australian drought and
Balochistan Baghnari and one more similar breed
giving birth to calves. More research is under
way, sources added.
