Drive against spurious agri pesticides
LAHORE (April 02 2004): Punjab Chief Minister
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday has said that
effective operation would be launched against
those selling spurious agricultural pesticides.
He said that it was a very serious issue, because
farmers spend their hard-earned money on these
pesticides to enhance their productivity, but
owing to greed of certain unscrupulous elements,
their hard work goes completely waste, he added.
Chief Minister stated that instructions have been
issued to concerned departments to deal strictly
with such elements.
