Allotment of farm lands begins
LAYYAH (April 05 2004): The allotment process of
agriculture lands under the Chief Minister's
scheme has started in tehsil Keror Lal Esan.
Talking to APP here, DDOR Keror, Malik Mumtaz
Kalore said the District Coordination Officer (DCO)
Layyah has constituted committees in the district
for this purpose, while Farrukh Cheema of PML(Q)
has been made district committee chairman.
The DDOR said that agriculture land to be allotted
to those tenants, who are cultivating land from
Rabi season 1998 to 2004, adding the 'Lambardars'
and councillors from every chak would participate
in scrutinising the applications in this regard.
The Patwaris along with the record would visit
Keror Lal Esan, and allotment would be made within
three or four days after verification of 'Khasra
number and Gurdwari', the DDOR added.
