Nil trading in ready cotton
KARACHI (February 27
2004): Trading was reported nil in cotton on
Thursday during normal business hours though DMR
reported a couple of deals struck on Wednesday,
the relevant sources said.
The official spot rate was held unchanged at Rs
3100 without ST and upcountry expenses.
In New York tempo was mixed: March up 0.10 cent to
69.10 cents a pound, and May lost to be quoted at
70.16 cents a pound.
From DMR following deals were lifted: 2360 bales
of Jhole at Rs 2700, 400 bales of Haroonabad at Rs
3050 and 600 bales of Haroonabad at Rs 3150.
