KARACHI (February 19 2004): Guwar registered a loss and wheat showed modest gain on the grain markets where a couple of the commodities also underwent variations on
the seed and grain wholesale markets on Wednesday (February 18, 2004).

The rapeseed cakes inferior quoted at Rs 230 and better at Rs 240, cotton cakes quoted at Rs 438 and Rs 440, and Til Sindh quoted at Rs 1650 and Rs 1925.

Wheat quoted up Rs 10 to Rs 1150 and better up Rs 10 to Rs 1160. Guwar all stations both kinds down Rs 25 to Rs 1425 and Rs 1450.

Yellow peas quoted at Rs 1550 and Rs 1590.

Bajra inferior up Rs 25 to Rs 850 and better up Rs 40 to Rs 900.

Broken rice irri white up Rs 10 to Rs 950 and better up sharply quoted at Rs 1025.
