| Spot rate falls, but no news of cotton buyers KARACHI (February 10 2004): Whether deals had been struck was not received from leading stations belying the hope that some change of hands was likely today, relevant sources said on Monday.
The trend was pretty discouraging therefore ginners slashed spot rate of grade III cotton by Rs 25 to Rs 3225, without sales tax and up-country charges.
Sources said spinners were anticipating some setback in local prices, which ginners provided. Now spinners' return with enthusiasm could be expected.
