Piaf welcomes horse show
LAHORE (February 18 2004): Pakistan Industrial &
Traders Associations Front (Piaf) while welcoming
holding of National Horse & Cattle show, has said
that the event would promote livestock sector that
would help check the shortage of meat.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Piaf
Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Arshad stressed the need
for working on scientific lines to meet the
requirements of milk and meat.
He called upon the Punjab Chief Minister to ensure
annual holding of this event and also constitute a
committee of experts, which should submit
necessary recommendations to ensure arrangements
of this event every year.
