| Holiday mood still lingers in the cotton market KARACHI (February 07 2004): The dealers upped their shutters on Friday on the cotton market expecting good going after long Eid and Kashmir Day holidays, relevant sources said.
However they were closing shops much before the scheduled time as phones were mostly silent.
They hoped market will really get going on Monday.
The official spot rate was left at pre-holidays level ie Rs 3250, without ST and upcountry expenses.
