Shalman water supply scheme to cost Rs 350 million
NWFP Governor Lieutenant General Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah (Retd) has assured a Zakha Khel tribal jirga that Shalman water supply scheme would be materialised at every cost saying the feasibility report of the proposed project is at the final stage. The scheme, he said, is expected to cost about Rs 350 million.

Pakistani team says solving water dispute can improve ties with India
The head of a Pakistani team visiting India to inspect a contentious hydro-electric project said Tuesday that the resolution of water disputes could help to warm ties between the tense neighbours. Syed Jamaiat Ali Shah is heading a three-member Pakistani team which is in Jammu, to inspect the Bagliar hydro-electric project.

Sindh On-farm Water Management-IV to cost $80.4 million
The cost of Sindh On-farm Water Management-IV will be $80.40 million, out of which the World Bank would finance $50.20, while remaining cost of $30.130 million would be shared by the Sindh government and the farmers organisations.
