Seminar on implications of WTO
KARACHI (August 27 2002) : A seminar on "World Trade Organisation (WTO) and
its implications" will be held in Karachi on August 31. The seminar, organised
by National Forum, will particularly deal with its harmful effects on the
country's pharmaceutical industry.
The Chairman National Forum, Doctor Qaisar Waheed, said that due to the
enforcement of WTO laws, Pakistan's local industries will be ruined and as a
result it would create unemployment.
